Part 2: 'Sleeping God' waterfalls

From the central town of Thames, we needed to drive 1hour on a really bumpy road... But it's all good considering that there are lots of breathtaking views to see along the road. One of the reason why we took 1 hr to go to the valley is because we are driving about 15km/hr. Haha.


We were delighted when we hear sounds of water and saw some stones..

And then we stopped and took some photos..

and .. that's Maria on the other side of the road =)

Later on, we had to stop at the Billy Goat tramp as our car is not allowed onto the tracks. We had to walk our way to the waterfalls.

Within 10mins, we reached the valley..

Maria saluting. haha... Influenced by her bf who is a police officer. Cool eh?

We then had to walk through the ramp. Only 1 person is allowed to walk on it at a time. Maria was almost freaking out while walking on it. She's really scared. =)

While walking, we stopped by to pose again..

After a few poses, we continued our journey in searching for the 'sleeping god'

Have to climb lotsa stairs. Seriously, we haven't been exercising so much till we come to Coromandel. It's a really good workout.

After working hard for it.. we finally see....

The 'Sleeping God' waterfalls!!

As we climbed downhill, we posed with the stones again.. haha.. since we love it so much

She's supposed to 'act' TALL. Noticed her sandals? She walked all the way uphill on the uneven pathway with the 2 inches sandals. I salute her for that. Not to mention, it drizzling when we were walking uphill..

I, on the other hand supposed to 'act' tiny behind the rocks but tak jadi :(
